Troubleshooting

I'm not receiving invites

If you're not receiving group invites:

  1. Verify your phone number is correct in Settings > Account

  2. Check if the invitation was sent to the correct number

  3. Make sure your notifications are enabled

  4. Ask the sender to try sending the invite again

  5. Check your network connection

Sometimes invites can take a few minutes to process. If problems persist, try signing out and back in.

The app keeps crashing

If CheckMate is crashing:

  1. Force close the app completely

  2. Restart your device

  3. Ensure you have the latest app version

  4. Check your available storage space

  5. If problems continue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app

Note that reinstalling won't delete your data as it's stored in the cloud, but you will need to sign in again.

My data isn't syncing properly

If your data isn't syncing between devices:

  1. Check your internet connection

  2. Force close and reopen the app

  3. Sign out and sign back in

  4. Ensure you're using the same account on all devices

  5. Wait a few minutes as syncing can sometimes be delayed

CheckMate requires an internet connection to sync data. The app will store changes locally when offline and upload them when connection is restored.
